Culture gives birth to break through technological innovation and advances as a direct function of its general and specific development. This process in turn influences the human culture, from whence it emerged, in absolutely fundamental ways. Changing the way we communicate and generally interact with each other and the whole of the wired in world public. In this manner it touches the lives of each and every one of us in a way unlike any other recent phenomena.

In impacting the human culture in such a powerful manner, technological development must be recognized as an essential, critical, factor in the unfolding of human history and society. For example take this section ripped from an article about the role of high tech in education.:

Families today are threatened like no other time in recent memory. The social, political, economic and financial turmoil rending modern society has created an unprecedented global crisis of immense proportions. The news is full of tales of governments and businesses going belly up, individuals and family's losing their homes, their retirement, their means of livelihood, and exhausting their savings. There are a flood of horror stories of men and women becoming destitute for the first time in their lives. People, like you and I, suddenly finding themselves forced into homelessness.

In these increasingly tenuous economic times, we all need to plan our purchases in the interest of maintaining family solvency. We have to be prepared to adopt innovated techniques and methods to protect our families' bottom line. At the same time we do not want to adversely impact on our children's sense of self esteem nor damage the social and professional profiles of family members.
