Photography is both a hobby and a profession. It is a primary means of capturing visual images of people, inanimate objects, nature and everything else visible to the human eye and many things not readily visible to the naked eye for one reason or another. Photography is an essential aspect of journalism, research and other non-leisure pursuits, along with its many leisure functions.
